Floating Lodge

A floating lodge for families to overnight on Fløyen mountain overlooking Bergen.

The lightweight truncated icosahedron, suspended in the forest, has a suspended sleeping cocoon at the top of its winding stairway.

This sketch proposal was shortlisted for construction, but was beaten by the fantastic Tuba Kuba (designed by Gunnar Sørås).
